H:FRAME · Publishing

Some stories need more room.

H:FRAME Publishing develops original fiction, books, story worlds, editorial projects and visual publications. Built around distinctive voices and ideas, its work can begin with a writer, a narrative, an image or a wider creative world — then grow into the form that gives it enough room to last.

What we do

Built to be read, kept and returned to.

Publishing gives an idea a different kind of space. A voice can become a novel. A character can grow into a wider story world. A conversation can become a long-form editorial piece, while a body of images can become a publication with its own rhythm and structure.

H:FRAME Publishing works across narrative development, editorial direction, writing, visual storytelling and publication design. The aim is not to force every project into the same format, but to understand what the work needs in order to become complete.

What we work across.

Books & Original Fiction

Novels, original fiction and book-length narrative projects developed around distinctive voices, characters and ideas, with enough room for the writing to establish its own identity.

Writers & Story Creators

Long-term development for writers and narrative creators whose work may grow through books, serial storytelling and other publishing forms without asking every creator to work in the same voice or genre.

Story Worlds & Original IP

Original characters, fictional worlds and narrative properties that can expand through connected stories, illustrated or serial formats and, where appropriate, future adaptations into other creative forms.

Editorial & Long-Form

Interviews, essays, profiles and other editorial work created with the time and context needed to move beyond short-form content and give the subject genuine depth.

Visual & Special Publications

Photo books, visual essays, artist publications, limited editions, archives and other image-led or project-specific formats where sequencing, design and editorial rhythm become part of the work itself.

Independent Editorial Titles

Original H:FRAME Publishing titles developed with their own editorial identity, visual language and long-term direction.

Halation

An H:FRAME Publishing editorial title in development.

HALATION is being developed as an independent editorial title within H:FRAME Publishing — a space for long-form conversations, visual stories, creative perspectives and work that benefits from time, context and considered presentation.

Its editorial structure, publishing rhythm and first public edition are still in development. HALATION will be introduced as a publication only when the project is ready to exist as more than an idea.

Our approach

The form should serve the story.

A longer format is only valuable when it gives the work something it could not have otherwise. H:FRAME Publishing begins with the voice, story or idea at the centre of a project, then considers what deserves explanation, what should remain visual and what needs more time to unfold.

That approach applies equally to a novel, an editorial title, a visual publication or an original story world. The goal is not constant output. It is to create work with enough clarity, identity and purpose that it can remain meaningful after the moment of release has passed.

An architectural publication-format archive displaying distinctly different book, folio, folded and editorial structures within one refined system.

Across H:FRAME

One idea can grow into more than one form.

When a project naturally calls for it, H:FRAME Publishing can work alongside Agency, Studios and Music. A story may remain on the page, or its world may eventually extend into photography, moving image, performance or screen — without losing the voice that made the original work worth developing.
