About the music

Some things are easier to say in a song.

Gahee’s music stays close to memory, feeling and the things that remain after a moment has passed. Rather than forcing every emotion toward a dramatic resolution, her songs leave space for ambiguity, restraint and the quieter shifts that make a feeling recognisable.

Dreamlike texture and cinematic detail can surround the work, but they do not replace the song itself. One release does not need to sound like the next; the continuity comes from the emotional point of view at the centre, not from a fixed genre or aesthetic.
